The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ March 13, 2008 Richard Holecek, 66, died March 7, 2008, at his residence in Pie Town, N.M. He was born Aug. 15, 1941, in Burbank, Calif., to Wesley and Naomi Holecek. Richard served 20 years in the U.S. Navy, was a Vietnam War veteran and retired as a chief petty officer. Richard is survived by his son, Mike Holecek of Pie Town, N.M.; daughters Jamie Harris of Sahuarita, Shellaree Holecek of Pie Town, N.M., and Shawnti Coolahan of Pie Town, N.M.;
