Nora Gonzales, 70, died after a lengthy illness, March 12, 2008, in Lakeside.
She was one of 12 children born to Antonio and Candelaria (Jarmillo) Baldonado Jan. 31, 1938. She moved to Holbrook in 1945. On Dec. 21, 1964, she married Paul Gonzales.
Nora is survived by her husband, Paul; her children, Lorena Valenzuela, Julie Arnold, Beatrice Gonzales, Paul Gonzales Jr., Dolores Angus and Toni Gonzales; her brothers and sisters, Carmen, Ovilio, Josie, Virginia, Theresa, Joanne, Louie and Tony; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Fermin, Florence and Benjamin, and also her parents.
Memorial services were held Monday, March 17, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Holbrook.
