Memorial services were conducted Saturday, Aug. 1 at Yarnell American Legion Post No. 79 in Yarnell for Brewster Greer Allen, 66, of Congress.
Mr. Allen died July 28 in the Wickenburg Community Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born in Weed, N.M., moving to Arizona in 1969 from Silvis, Ill.
He was employed by the U.S. Government at the Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois as a weapons inspector until his retirement.
He was a veteran of World War II and Korean conflict, serving in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of the Yarnell American Legion Post No. 79, and had served as the post’s adjutant.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan Pfeiffer of Waldort, Md.; stepdaughter Jeanne Huffman of Burlington, Wash.; two sons, Brad Allen of Phoenix and Bill Allen of Congress; two sister; and seven grandchildren.
All arrangements were by Heritage Funeral Chapel of Youngtown.
