Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona August 13, 1987, page 2 Funeral arrangements are pending in De Kalb, Ill. for Lonnie O. Ester, 62, of Wickenburg. A memorial service for Mr. Ester will be conducted at 11:15 a.m. Sunday at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Mr. Ester died Aug. 10 of a heart attack while attending to his recently deceased father’s estate in Zephyrillis, Fla., at a local hospital. He will be buried in De Kalb. He was born Jan. 2, 1925 in Underwood, Ind., and had lived in Wickenburg since 1984. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nelma, and his father, Jesse Ester, who died Aug. 4. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wickenburg, and had served there as a trustee. Ester was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II. He was employed by Honeywell Micro-Switch of Freeport, Ill., until his retirement in 1984. Survivors include his wife, Helen, of Wickenburg; and a daughter, Yvonne Minneti of Boardman, Ohio.
