Stan was born in Canton, South Dakota on Dec. 20, 1937 and died on Oct. 2, 2007.

He served in the Navy from 1955 to 1961, receiving a Good Conduct Metal.

Stan is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sarah; daughter, Mrs. Petina Weisenburger; grandchildren, Joshua and Shy Ann Weisenburger; sister, Mary Stoops; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
