Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Published Thursday, December 13, 2007 - Roberta Neyland, 73, passed away Nov. 17, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nev. She was born July 27, 1934, in Yuba City, Calif., to Walter and Orpha Spillman. Roberta married Ray Neyland on Jan. 11, 1975. Together they made Lake Havasu City their home July 4, 1991, from Chino, Calif. Roberta worked as a beautician, at the Daily Bulletin Newspaper and for the Pomona Elks, from which she retired in 1991. She loved being with her family and fishing. Roberta is survived by her spouse, Ray Neyland, of Lake Havasu City; her son, Dennis Chambers, of Elizabeth, Colo.; her daughters, Tracy Fielder, of Henderson, Nev., and Cindy Sullivan, of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; her step-son, Ron Neyland, of Carson, Calif.; brother, Glenn Spillman, of Washington C.H., Ohio; and nine grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Monte Chambers. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m., at Hilltop Community Church, 3180 McCulloch Blvd.
