Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 3, 1987, page 2-A Memorial services were conducted Monday, Aug. 31 at the First Southern Baptist Church of Wickenburg for Kenneth Harold “Pete” Florey. The Rev. Delbert Henderson officiated. Burial will be today (Thursday) in the Memorial Gardens at Colorado Spring, Colo. Mr. Florey, 79, of Wickenburg, died Aug. 30 in Wickenburg Community Hospital. He was born Sept. 20, 1907 in Richfield, Colo., moving to Wickenburg in 1982 from Elizabeth, Colo. He was a retired rancher and farmer and was a member of the First southern Baptist Church of Wickenburg. He is survived by his wife, Ila, of Wickenburg; a son, Lewis N. Florey of Ebert, Colo.; a daughter, V. Louise Ross of Thornton, Colo.; one brother, Earl T. Florey of Colorado Springs, Colo.; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Southern Baptist Church in Wickenburg.
