Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 3, 1987, page 2-A Graveside services were conducted Monday at the Ajo Cemetery for Alan C. Duff, who died Aug. 28 in the Tucson Medical Center. He was buried with military honors, with the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion posts of Ajo officiating. Mr. Duff, 72, was born Oct. 22, 1914 in Collingwood, N.J. He lived in Wickenburg for 15 years until his retirement two years ago, moving to Ajo at that time. He was Director of Parks and Recreation for the Town of Wickenburg prior to his retirement in 1985. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II. Survivors include his wife, Betty, of Ajo; a son, James Duff of Lewisburg, Kan.; a daughter, Linda Longoria of Phoenix; and three grandchildren. All arrangements were by the Douglass Funeral Home in Ajo.
