Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona October 15, 1987, page 2-A Funeral mass will be said at 10 a.m. today (Thursday) at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wickenburg for Thad Alexander Kay, 93, of Wickenburg. Fr. Thomas E. Boyle will officiate. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park in Riverside, Calif. Mr. Kay died Oct. 11 in Wickenburg Nursing Home. He was born March 22, 1894 in South Bend, Ind. Mr. Kay was a member of the American legion for more than 60 years. He was a graduate of Purdue University, and a retired employee of Kaiser Steel in Fontana, Calif., where he worked as an engineer. He moved to Wickenburg from California in 1983. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret. Survivors include one son, Kenneth, and a daughter, Charlene. Contributions may be made to the Wickenburg Nursing Home.
