Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona November 5, 1987, page 2-A Graveside services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 at the Wickenburg Cemetery, for William White, 92, of Congress. The Rev. Silver Willhite will officiate, and will be assisted by VFW Post No. 2862 Leading Commander James Borders. Mr. White died early last week in Kennewick, Washington. He was a charter member of VFW Post No. 2862, Wickenburg, starting the post in February 1936. He held offices in the post through 1985. He was a veteran of World War I and World War II. He mined in Congress and Wickenburg most of his life. All arrangements were by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
