Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona December 10, 1987, page 2-A Andy Herve, who managed the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce in the early 1960’s and was a prominent publicist in Hollywood during the “golden age” of movies, died last week in Oceanside, Calif. Mr. Herve was 86. “He was really a classy guy who probably did more to promote Wickenburg than anyone,” said Dana Burden, himself a chamber manager following Herve’s service to the community. Herve was the publicist for two of Hollywood’s biggest movies, Gone With the Wind and Ben Hur. He also worked as an agent with some of the movie industry’s most famous stars, including Clark Gable. He is survived by his wife, Flavia, of Oceanside, and numerous grandchildren.
