Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona December 17, 1987, page 2-A Graveside services were Tuesday at the Genung Cemetery in Peeples Valley for Wilma J. Sanborn, 77, of Yarnell, who died De.10 in Yuma Medical Center. Sam Weinschenk of the Yarnell Community Church officiated. Mrs. Sanborn died at the hospital in Yuma after suffering a heart attack while on a fishing trip in that area. She was born may 14, 1910 in Joplin, Mo., and had lived in Arizona almost all of her life, moving to Kirkland when she was 3 years old. She came with her family from Missouri in a Model T Ford. She attended schools in Kirkland, moving to Yuma in 1949, living there until 1955. She operated a café in Patagonia from 1960 until her retirement in 1970, when she moved to Yarnell. Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Walter, of Yarnell; three sons, Oren Bennett of Bullhead City, Norman Bennett of Bagdad, and Gary Schul of Yucca Valley, Calif.; a brother, Howard Wells of Palo Verde; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
