Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona December 17, 1987, page 2-A Graveside services were Monday at Genung Memorial Park in Peeples Valley for Richard ”Dick” Zufelt, 84, who died Dec. 8 in San Diego, Calif. Mr. Zufelt was born Feb. 17, 1903 in Duncan, Ariz., and had lived in Arizona 81 years, moving in San Diego three years ago. He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet, who died in 1984. He worked for the Tanner Construction Co. in Phoenix as a heavy equipment mechanic, retiring to Yarnell in 1968. Survivors include two daughter, Emily Mae Taylor of Lake Tahoe, Calif., and Betty Jo Walker of San Diego; a sister, Ruby Crouse of Phoenix; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
