Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona December 24, 1987, page 2-A Private services were conducted in Warren, Vt. for Edgar Shouse Idol, 84, a former Wickenburg resident who died Dec. 21 in Barre, Vt. Mr. Idol was born Nov. 10, 1903 in Pleasant Hill, Mo. He lived in Arizona 15 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Grubb Idol, in 1983 Survivors include a son, William Idol of Warren; a daughter, Jane Stapleton of Aspen, Colo.; and four grandchildren. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the desert Caballeros Western Museum in Wickenburg.
