Private interment was Monday at the Wickenburg Cemetery for Virginia Augusta Rose, 79, of Aguila.
Mrs. Rose died Dec. 23 in Sun City.
She was born Nov. 11, 1908 in Seattle, Wash., and had lived in Arizona for 40 years.
She attended high school in Bellflower, Calif., and then the University of Southern California.
Mrs. Rose pursued a music career as a concert pianist, performing under the names Virginia Rose and Virginia Clay, in Hollywood, Calif., and France, England and Germany, as well as Mexico and Argentina. She played for the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Telethon.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert Clay Rose, of Aguila.
All arrangements were by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
