Memorial services were conducted Dec. 22 at the First Church of God in Prescott for Bedford B. Wilkins, 81, of Wickenburg, who died Dec. 18 at Boswell Hospital in Sun City.
Mr. Wilkins was born July 11, 1906 in Salem, Ill.
He was a carpenter and builder in Prescott for 20 years, and then became a ranch manager and Arabian horse trainer in Mayer for more than 20 years.
He retired to Wickenburg in 1984, and he and his wife Mame, who survives him recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
He was a member of the Wickenburg Saddle Club and a lifetime member of Carpenters Local No. 906 in Prescott.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, George Wilkins of Wickenburg and Robert Wilkins of Williams; a daughter, Frances Field of Phoenix; a brothers, Theron Wilkins of Salem, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
