Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Published Wednesday, November 21, 2007 - Ronald Gene Healey, 62, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007 in Tuscon. He was born Nov. 20, 1945, in Salburg, Pa., to Tom and Hazel Healey (Peterson). Ronald graduated high school in Salburg and served under the direction of the United States Navy in Vietnam. Ronald married Barbara in 1977 in Chandler. Together they made Lake Havasu City their home in 1992 from Casa Grande. He loved hunting, fishing, prospecting and his family and friends were most important to him. Ronald is survived by his spouse, Barbara Healey, of Kingman; his stepson, Mark Platt; stepdaughters, Sharon Bowers and Gloria Weathford; brothers, Doug, Don, and Sam; sisters, Sally, Sue and Sandy; grandchildren, Heather, Tawnya, Eric, Adam, Christina, Charles, Angel, Regie, Angela and Micheal; great grandchildren, Taylor, Savanah, Katie, Chelsea, Stephen, Cheyenne, Justice, J.D., Kevin, Hunter and Jasmin. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Hazel Healey; and stepson, George Platt. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at Lakeview Community Church, 1699 W.
