SANDILLA, James Paul


James Paul Sandilla, 90, of Mesa, AZ, native of Chicago, died Friday, January 9, 2004 in Mesa. James was a floral designer for Watson's Flower Shop, from which he retired in 1997. He was also a Lifetime Member of the Lions Club International. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Coral Schnell Sandilla of Mesa, AZ; a son, Paul (Kathy) Sandilla of Munster, IN; two daughters, Nona (Alan) Emahiser of Gold Canyon, AZ and Jana (Jere) Miller of Hoffman Estates, IL; two brothers, Angelo Sandilla and Peter (Carol) Sandilla, both of Mesa, AZ; four sisters, Rose Walsh of Chicago, Julia Thyen of Hobart, IN, Antoinette Thayer of Chicago and Dorothy Jabczynski of Schererville, IN; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services and burial will be in Chicago. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to Alzheimer's Research. Melcher's Mission Chapel of Mesa, AZ is serving the family.
