Greers Mortuary of Winslow, Winslow, Arizona Ervin Nez November 30, 2010 A viewing for Ervin Nez ,48, will be held Friday December 3rd at 12:00 noon and will be followed by a graveside service at Desert View Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. Ervin was born on August 17, 1962 in Winslow, Az and passed away on November 30, 2010 in Flagstaff, AZ. He graduated from Winslow high school in 1981 and afterwards attended Haskell Jr. college in Lawrence Kansas. He is part of the Tachiinii (Red Running Into the Water People Clan) and the Tse deeshgizhnii (Rock Gap Clan) He loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking and camping. He also enjoyed water skiing, watching John Wayne movies and horseback riding. He was a competitive bull rider and a skilled carpenter for over 30 years. He is survived by his mother Florence Nez; His Brothers Ernie (Trescilla) Nez, and Luther (Lorena) Nez; Sisters, Katherine Nez, and Lavina (Chappo) Gonzales; Nieces and Nephews, Angelica & Markel, Robert ,Jamie (Jed), LaRee (Mickie), Davison, Kendrick , Shonevis and Joshua Vargas; and 4 Great nieces, Tyra Karen Jewel and Janaye.
