GARCIA, Jose (MJ)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ March 24, 2008 José Garcia, also known as Mexican Joe or "MJ," was born April 15, 1944, in Beeville, Texas, to Ted and Angelita Garcia. Joe lived in Texas for 25 years. On March 22, 2002, he married Mary Sillers in Concho. He loved fishing, hunting and never hesitated to help anyone. He is survived by his son, Joe Garcia Jr. of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Christina Garcia of Snowflake and Theresa Hines Garcia of Show Low. He also leaves eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as one brother, Ted Garcia Jr. of Beeville, Texas. Graveside services were held March 19 at 3 p.m. at Pot Belly Cemetery. Joe was loved and will be missed by many.
