Emily Boone, 43, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008. She was born in Houston, Texas, to Dr. Max and Carol Boone.
Emily was devoted to her family. She was known for her kindness and love for others. She devoted months to the care of her mother as she fought brain cancer. Emily was a longtime mathematics teacher at Yavapai College and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Survivors include her beloved husband Terry Crites; daughters, Morgan and Mackenzie Boone-Roberts; and siblings, David Boone, Linda Boone, Bob Boone and George Boone.
A receiving of friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez in Prescott. A private family service will take place.
