Linda McIntyre, age 59, a 15-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., died on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, when she succumbed to complications incurred on 80% of her body during a house fire.
Linda was born on December 4, 1951, in San Bernardino, Calif., to parents, Melvin and Elizabeth Rosevink. She graduated from San Gorgornio High School. She married, and raised two daughters, Dannyel and Ginean. In 1995, once the girls had lives of their own, Linda moved to Bullhead City.
Linda worked as a cashier the majority of her life, including working at K-Mart, the Colorado Belle, the Riverside Resort and the Regency Casino, and stopped working in 2008. Linda shared the last six years with her fiance, Michael Danvir, her dogs, Spike, Mitzy, Duke and Buster, and was interested in crime scene investigations.
Linda was kind and gentle and made friends easily. She had a great sense of humor and was very giving.
Linda is survived by her two daughters, Dannyel (Lawrence) Salcido and Ginean (Walter) Mallet; three surviving sisters, Pat Merriam, Jane Montag and Jean Newton; and six grandchildren, Desiree Salcido, Gabrielle Salcido, Isabella Salcido, Jessica Mooyman, George Mooyman Jr., and Alexia Mooyman.
A memorial will be held at 10:00 a.m. (NV time) on Saturday, January 8, 2011, at the Regency Casino, 1950 S. Casino Dr., Laughlin, Nev.
