Gerald (Jerry) Gappa, 72, of Aurora, Colo., passed away Nov. 28, 2010 in Lake Havasu City. He was born in Colorado Springs, Colo., to Vincent and Ann Gappa. He is survived by his wife, Linda; five children, Doug (Susie), Darla (Bill), Greg (Kim), Steve (Heather), and Suzy (Dave); and 11 grandchildren, Tara, Chris, Joe, Teresa, Gary, Logan, Emily, Ethan, Anna, Tori and Ryan; along with three brothers, Robert (deceased) (Naomi), Larry (Kitty), and Johnny (Arlene).
 
Jerry was a very devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is greatly missed by family and friends.

Memorial services will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Eagles Lodge 3224, 1151 S. Galena, Aurora, CO 80247. A memorial reception follows at the Eagles Lodge.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the American Heart Association or ALS Association.
