Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, October 2, 2008 Allen Thomas Foster died on Monday, Sept. 29, 2008 in Prescott, Ariz. Born on Sept. 9, 1938 in Los Angeles, Calif., he was the son of Walter and Donnia (Cypert) Foster. He was 70 years old. Allen was a member of the Elks Lodge in California. He enjoyed traveling and cooking, especially barbecuing. He was most proud of his family, graduating from college and owning his own business. Allen is survived by his loving wife Virginia; daughter Syndy; son Jeremy and his wife Jenny of Chino Valley; brother Russell Foster of W. Richland, Wash.; sister Joyce Foster of Santa Maria, Calif.; and grandson Joshua. He is preceded in death by his sister Beverly Charleton; brothers-in-law Fred Foster and Roy Charleton; and grandson Anthony. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008 at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, corner of Cortez and Carleton streets. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Miss Kitty’s Cat House, 609 s. Granite St., Prescott, Az. 86303 or Yavapai Regional medical Center, Attn.
