Rose Jewel Henderson died Feb. 22, 2008, at the home of her daughter, Dorothy O'Donnell in Vernon.

Rose was born Sept. 30 1916, in Mt. Ida, Ark. She lived in Oklahoma and Arkansas until 2005, when she came to live in Vernon.

Burial will be at Mount Tabor Cemetery in Glenwood, Ark.
