Harriett Helen Creager, 92, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at Infinia Nursing Home in Show Low.
Mrs. Creager was born Harriett Helen Culp, Sept. 22, 1915, to Martin Howard and Grace Pearl Frisbee (Tidionte) Culp in Sperry, Okla.
She married Homer Creager in 1937 in Tulsa, Okla., and was a housewife who worked part time at JC Penney's and volunteered at the Hutchinson County Museum in Borger. She was a member of Fairlanes Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star No. 347 for 50-plus years in Stinnett, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Homer in December 2000 and daughter Dorothy Dunn in 2000.
She is survived by one son, Thomas (Diane) Creager of Tucson; two daughters, Vina Creager of Pinetop and Virginia Scott (Edward) of Lipscomb, Texas; sister Lucy Lee Lancaster of Amarillo, Texas; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 29, at Fairlanes Baptist Church in Borger with Pastor Dr. Chad Chaddick, officiating. Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery following.
