William "Bill" G. Hall, 79, died Jan. 23, 2008. He was born March 10, 1928, in Danville, Ill.

Bill was a resident of Scottsdale for 25 years and moved to Pinetop in 1994. He was honorably discharged at the rank of sergeant from the Army where he served during the latter part of WWII as part of the Airborne Division. Bill was in the Orpheus Male Chorus in the Valley and then in the White Mountain Chorale in the Pinetop area.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa; son Michael; three daughters, Terry Whitbeck, Kathy Webster and Lou Ann Maguth; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be held March 7 in Pinetop. The family asks that contributions be made to the RTA Hospice and Palliative Care in Lakeside.
