CLAYTON, John Bradley (Brad)


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ February 1, 2008 John Bradley "Brad" Clayton, 49, of Mesa was called home Jan. 25, 2008. He was born Oct. 10, 1958, in Mesa to Robert and Rose Marie Clayton of Tempe. Brad was a versatile and gifted athlete at Tempe High School graduating in 1977. He went on to serve a two-year church mission in Uruguay. He graduated from ASU, earned a M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix, and spent most of his professional career in banking. Brad was an avid outdoorsman, active in his church and loved to travel. He was a devoted and dedicated father, husband, son, brother and friend. Survivors include his wife, Paula; children Tyler, Brandon, Ashley, Sandra and Travis; his parents; brother Scott of Phoenix; sister Pam (Randy) Cox of Queen Creek; and adoring nieces, nephews and in-laws. A visitation is scheduled from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at the LDS Church at 1315 S. 24th St. in Mesa. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the LDS Church at 2334 E. Pueblo Ave. in Mesa. Burial will follow at Tempe Double Butte Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made the children's educational fund at Chase Bank. Reference account number: 2339880672.
