Kathleen Declay went home to be with the Lord Jan. 22, 2008, in Phoenix. She was born Oct. 4, 1934, in Cibecue.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, Milton Declay; children Samson Declay, Leo Declay, Reva Declay, Jeremiah Declay, Perry Declay and Mercy D. Aday; brothers Paschal Johnson, Rufus Johnson, Graham Johnson, Lincoln Johnson and Matthew Johnson; sisters Geraldine Adley and Thurza Yellowhair; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents, Kurt and Anita Perry Johnson.
Kathleen's body will be brought back to her residence (604 W. Cibecue Road) in Cibecue for a one-night wake Friday, Feb. 1, at 10 a.m. A funeral service will be Saturday, Feb. 2, at 1 p.m. at the Cottonwood Gym in Cibecue with Pastor Theresa Lee officiating.
Interment will be at the Family Plot Cemetery in Cibecue.
Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
