Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona January 28, 1988, page 2-A Private cremation was conducted earlier this month at the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Walter Harding Howell, 83, of Wickenburg. Mr. Howell died Dec. 27, in the Wickenburg Community Hospital. He was born Feb. 27, 1904 in Chicago, Ill. He had lived in Arizona for 15 years and was a retired electrical contractor from Donners Grove, Ill. He was preceded in death by his wife, Erlene H. Howell. Survivors include two sons, Jack, of Scottsdale, and Bill, of Cave Creek; a sister, who lives out of state; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
