Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona January 28, 1988, page 2-A Services were Saturday, Jan.23, at the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Catherine Louise Merrill, 70, of Wickenburg. Pastor John Butler officiated, and burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mrs. Merrill died Jan. 20 in Wickenburg Community Hospital. She was born April 12, 1917 in Washington. She had resided in Arizona 47 years, living in Wickenburg from 1934 to 1947. In 1947 she went to Prescott, working as the manager of the Eagle Drug Store Fountain there for 20 years, then working in Sam Hills in Prescott before moving back to Wickenburg in 1982. Survivors include two sons, Brian, of Morenci, and Gary, of Chandler; a daughter, Gay Hamm of Vancouver, Canada; three brothers, Robert Harrington of Clarkston, Wash., Roy Harrington of Phoenix, and Richard Harrington, of Phoenix; two sisters, Marjorie Daddario of Clarkston, Wash., and Threva Estey of San Jose, Calif.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
