Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona March 10, 1988, page 2-A Services were Tuesday at the Wickenburg LDS Church for William Templeton Cluff, 79, of Wickenburg, who died March 3 in Boswell Hospital in Sun City of natural Causes. Mr. Cluff was born May 15, 1908 in Colonia Garcia, Chihuahua, Mexico, and had lived in Arizona for 40 years. He was a farmer, rancher, dude wrangler and horse trainer in Arizona, Utah and New Mexico. He married his wife, Carolyn, who survives him on June 9, 1968. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Western Saddle Club, Utah Riding Club Association and Wickenburg Horsemen’s Association. He was a children’s riding counselor at the Rancho De los Caballeros in Wickenburg, and a horsemanship counselor for the Boy Scouts of American. He was a member of the LDS Church and served a mission in Kansas City. In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughter, Darlene Hardyman and Dianne Alvery; a son Wayne W. Cluff; two sisters, Lillith Whipple and Meria Nielson, a brother, Harold Cluff; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
