Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona March 17, 1988, page 2-A Services were Friday at the Wickenburg LDS Church for Ellwood L. Sander, 78 of Wickenburg and Mayer, who died March 7 at the Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott. Bishop Underwood of the Wickenburg LDS Church officiated, and burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Sander was born Jan. 9, 1910 in Mesa. He was a lifelong resident of Arizona. He was a Wickenburg businessman and the owner of the Old Bridge Motel. He was a member of Wickenburg Elks Lodge, lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of the Shrine. Survivors include his wife, Rose Christensen Sanders, of Wickenburg; three daughters; one son; three brothers; two sisters, one stepdaughter and two step sons; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
