The Prescott Courier Prescott Valley, Arizona November 27, 1977, Page 22 Albert J. Allen, 69, died Friday at Yavapai Community Hospital after a lingering illness. He was born April 12, 1908 in Leon, Iowa. He had moved to Prescott Valley three years ago from Kellerton, Iowa, where he was an insurance agent for 23 years and was also the city clerk there for many years. He had service on the Selective Service Board for 15 years there and had done income tax work in Kellerton and also in Prescott Valley after moving here. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Leon, Iowa. Survivors include: his wife, Rohma of Prescott Valley; two sons, Tom of Woodland Hills, Calif. and Jack of Davenport; his mother, Mrs. Hattie Allen of Leon, Iowa; also three brothers and two sisters all living in Iowa. The remains have been sent to the Rhoades-Wilson Funeral Home in Mount Ayr, Iowa for services and burial to follow in Maple Row Cemetery at Kellerton, Iowa. Memory Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
