Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, Arizona - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from January 4 to January 11, 2011 - Robert Charles "Bob" Cox, age 56, a 38+ year resident of Needles, Calif., passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010, in Rock Spring, Wyo. He was born on July 5, 1954, in Pasadena Calif., and attended Needles and Mohave High Schools. He worked as a locomotive engineer for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for 29 years. Bob loved the river and anything to do with water. Hunting and fishing were sure to keep a smile on his face, but when he had a chance to water-ski, is when that smile grew even bigger. Bob was forever a kid at heart. No matter how many years went by, he always kept others around him on their toes. Rock 'n Roll music was always a sure bet when Bob was around. Bob will be dearly missed! Someday again, Bob, "We'll talk it over." He was preceded in death by his father, Byron Cox. He is survived by his son, Dustin Cox; daughter, Nikki Cox; mother, Jean Cox; two brothers, Jim Cox and Ken Carter; two nephews, Michael Cox and Corey Carter; and niece, Brittney Cox. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. (MST) on January 8, 2011, at Mohave Valley United Methodist Church, 1593 Lipan Blvd, Fort Mohave, Ariz.
