LOCKE, Edgar Davis

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona October 2007 Edgar Davis Locke died Sept. 30,2007, at his home in Prescott. He was born July 17, 1914, in Ozark, Ark., the son of Cecil Earl and Mae Davis Locke. Edgar was 93 years old. Edgar lived most of his life in Southern California with his loving family while working for Douglas Aircraft for 44 years. He moved to Prescott in 1995. Edgar was an avid coin collector and baseball fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his son James Locke; daughters, Janice Locke, Marianne Locke (Bob Moore) and daughter-in-law Mary Locke; grand daughters, Michelle, Fahidy,Karen Locke-White and Dawn Johnson; and grand sons) Locke, Thomas and Christopher Moore; and nine great-grandchildren. Edgar was preceded in death by his wife Alice, son Daniel, granddaughter Robin Locke and daughter-in-law. Willodeen Locke. A Rosary Service will be on Wednesday Oct 3, 2007, at the Arizona Ruffner-Wakelin Funeral Home.
