Memorial services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 13, at the First Baptist Church of Congress for Alpha (Taylor) McGee, 84, of Congress.
Bob Harrison will officiate.
Mrs. McGee died May 2 at Cook Baptist Health Care Facility in Youngtown.
She was born Aug. 15, 1903 in Charleston, W. Va. She had lived in Arizona for more than 40 years.
Mrs. McGee was the oldest daughter in a family of 11 children. She and her husband, who preceded her in death, were caretakers of the Vulture Mine and the Kay El Bar Ranch in 1970.
She worked as a cook most of her life.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Congress.
In her later years she resided at the Cook Health Care Facility in Youngtown.
She is survived by two son, James Gatz of Glendale, and Robert Gatz of Cocoa, Fla.; a daughter, Betty Green, of Congress; three sisters, one brother, five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Congress.
The Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
