BARTEE, Frank Walter

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona June 9, 1988, page 2-A Services were Wednesday, June 8 at Mercer Mortuary in Phoenix for Frank Walter Bartee, 91, of Phoenix. Mr. Bartee was a former longtime Wickenburg resident, living in the community from 1927 to 1946. He was born Oct. 16, 1896 in Burtrum, Texas. He was veteran of World War I, a member of the Wickenburg American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Masonic Lodge. He was a longtime member of the Wickenburg Volunteer Fire department, until he moved to Phoenix. Survivors include his wife, Essie; sons Frank, Jr. and Kenneth of Phoenix; a daughter, Billie, of Baldwin Park, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
