Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona August 4, 1988, page 2 Services were Thursday, July 28 in the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Willie Lee Haggard, 77, of Wickenburg. Dr. Bert Follmar of Calvary Baptist Church officiated, with burial following in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mrs. Haggard died July 26 in Phoenix. She was born Feb. 20, 1911 in Barlow, Kentucky. She had lived in Arizona for the past 18 years. She was preceded in death by her son, Cecil Ray Haggard. Mrs. Haggard was married for 58 years to C. Raymond Haggard of Wickenburg, who survives her. She worked in a defense plant in Jackson, Mich., during World War II. She lived in Jackson for 40 years before moving to Wickenburg in 1970. She is additionally survived by two double cousins, Ely Hendricks of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Agatha Caldwell of Addison, Mich.
