COLTON, George Andrew (Andy)

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday, January 05, 2011 George Andrew "Andy" Colton, 26, of Flagstaff, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, following a brief hospitalization in Tucson. Mr. Colton was born April 27, 1984, in Flagstaff to proud parents Ted and Becky Colton. He attended Christensen Elementary School, Mount Elden Middle School, Northland Preparatory Academy and graduated from Sinagua High School. He went on to attend two years at Coconino Community College. He will be remembered as an extremely bright young man with a quick wit and infectious laugh. He opened his heart to everyone, made friends easily and derived great pleasure spending time with those he loved -- family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. Mr. Colton is survived by his parents, George "Ted" and Becky Colton of Flagstaff; sister Mariah Maier (Anthony) of Flagstaff; grandparents Bill and Jackie Stutz of Lake Havasu City; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George "Bill" and Jane Colton. Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Coconino Center for the Arts, 2300 N. Fort Valley Road, in Flagstaff.
