Duane P. Smith, devoted husband and father, died Feb. 1, 2008, with wife Camille and stepdaughter Shawn Thomas by his side.

While he lived in Pinetop, Duane practiced law and served as a judge pro tem. In addition to his wife, he is survived by many family members and fine friends who love him and will miss him greatly.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lung Transplant Program at St. Joseph's Hospital, Attn: Brandi Krushelniski, 500 W. Thomas Road, Suite 500, Phoenix, AZ 85013.

A Celebration of Life is planned for the spring.
