FLOWERS, SR., I.J.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ February 8, 2008 I.J. Flowers Sr. went home to our Lord Jesus Jan. 29, 2008, in Houston, Texas. I.J.'s exciting career in the oil industry began in East Texas and spanned the globe. He retired as a highly respected executive with Santa Fe International where he made many lifelong friends. His friends and family were blessed by his honesty and devotion. He spent his last years sharing his love of Jesus Christ to all. Welcoming him in Heaven are his beloved wife Joyce; son Lee; mom and dad, Eva Lenora and Rob; sisters Lorena, Vivian and Louise; brother Jim; and granddaughter Heather. He leaves behind many family and friends who love him dearly including son I.J Jr.; daughter Betty (Haskell) Polson; grandchildren Garry (Katie) Polson, Tom (Stacey) Polson, Chris (Taira) Flowers, Courtney Flowers and Adam Flowers; great-grandchildren Austin, Tylar, Cayden, Evan and Sara.
