PURCELL, John F., Sr.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ January 4, 2008 John F. Purcell Sr., 53, died Dec. 30, 2007, after a long illness at Banner Gateway Hospital in Gilbert. He was born Dec. 21, 1954, in Wheeling, W. Va. He served his country in U.S. Marine, and was a member of the LDS Church in Snowflake. He is survived by his wife, Bette; two sons, John Jr. and Charles of Arizona; one brother William Jr. of Florida; two sisters Lottie Day and Carrie Yerkes, both of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother David. Cremation was held in Mesa; no services will be held
