ARMSTRONG, William Thomas (Tom)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ January 8, 2008 William Thomas "Tom" Armstrong, 91, died peacefully at his home Jan. 1, 2008, in Show Low. He was born Feb. 12, 1916, to the late James and Burnice (Mastin) Armstrong in Stotesbury, Miss. Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in World War II. He is survived by sister Rachel (Harrel) Swink of Oklahoma City, Okla., and nephew James Ewan of Drake, Colo. No services are planned. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
