ALCORN, Charles (Bob) Robert

Charles "Bob" Robert Alcorn, 73, of Lakeside went to be with our Savior Jesus Christ Jan. 1, 2008, after a long battle with cancer.

He was a father to Robert, Chilo, Jesse, Lupe and husband Jon and a friend to all. Everyone was Bob's friend and he would call you "Gabe" or "Young Lady."

Bob didn't just have friends; they were individual relationships. He was totally unselfish and did for others before doing for himself. Gabe loved his church family, and he loved the Lord Jesus and trusted in Him.

Bob is survived by his beautiful wife of 53 years, Socorro; son Rick Charles and Lesa Alcorn of Lakeside; daughter Sheri Lobb and Ted Waller of Cameron Park, Calif.; lifelong friend Yo and Doris Asano; and many grandchildren.

The family suggests donations be made to Cornerstone Community Church, P.O. Box 927, Lakeside, AZ 85929.
