Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 1, 1988, page 2 Private memorial services were conducted for Esther Wiley Barton Herr, 88, of Wickenburg. Mrs. Herr died Aug. 28 at her home in Wickenburg. She was born April 23, 1900 in Oxford, Pa., and had lived in Wickenburg for the past 21 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg; was active in the Soroptimist Club in Pennsylvania; and was a member of the Desert Caballeros Western Museum staff. She is survived by her husband, Stan, of Wickenburg; a step daughter, Katherine Samples, of Oxford, Pa.; a sister, S.B. Somiramis Thomas of Wayne, Pa.; and five nieces and nephews. Contributions may be made to the Desert Caballeros Western Museum. The Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
