He was born Feb. 18, 1954. He was a graduate of Arizona State University, and worked as an auditor for AmFac Corporation. Survivors include his parents, Ralph and Phyliss Sams, of Wickenburg; two sisters, Lynne and Cheryl; a brother, Dale; his grandfather, Gearold Sams and five nieces and two nephews.
