Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona October 6, 1988, page 2-A Services were Wednesday at the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Ethel Irene Barncard McConnell, 92, of Wickenburg. The Rev. W.W. Hutchison officiated, with burial following in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mrs. McConnell died Oct. 3 in Wickenburg. She was born May 2, 1896 in Duluth, Minn. She had lived in Arizona for the past 42 years. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg; a member of Eastern Star; the VFW Auxiliary; Wickenburg Camera Club; Wise Owl; and a lifetime member of the Wickenburg Art Club. Survivors include two daughters, Ila Kerkes and Lorraine Carr, both of Wickenburg; three grandchildren, Robert McConnell, Ronna Murray and Lina Kerkes Melendez; and three great-grandchildren, Lendsay Melendez, Erin McConnell and Tyra McConnell.
