Graveside services were conducted Oct. 20 at the Skull Valley Cemetery for Ulysses Grant Wells, 52, of Wickenburg.
Minister Albert Cantrell of the Church of Christ in Wickenburg officiated.
Mr. Wells died Oct. 16 in the Good Shepherd Care Center in Peoria.
He was born Dec. 1, 1934 in Leslie County, Ky. He had lived in Arizona for most of his life, moving to Bagdad as a young man and working in the mining industry.
He also worked in Miami and in the states of Idaho and Kentucky.
Mr. Wells moved to Wickenburg in June and was employed at the Vulture Mine at the time of his death.
He was a member of the Church of Christ in Wickenburg.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah; five sons, Charlie and Grant, of Bagdad, David of Yava, Michael of Prescott Valley, and Stephen of Nevada; one brother three sisters; and 10 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Maricopa County chapter of the American Cancer Society.
Memory Chapel of Prescott was in charge of all arrangements.
