Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, January 05, 2011 Betty L. Brittain, a former Globe-area resident died Dec. 25, 2010 in Benson, Ariz. at the age of 88. She was born in Apache, Ariz. on Jan. 19, 1922 to Edgar Lee and Mary Hebert Wright. Betty was a life long Arizonan, she was a rancher’s wife and a horsewoman her entire life. Betty enjoyed her family and loved the outdoors. She was a member of Wynne Chapel in Richland Ranchettes. Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Treiber of Sunsites, Ariz., Nancy (Gary) Neel of Medford, Ore. and Vicki (Vic) Coggins of Enterprise, Ore.; her sons, David (Linda) Latimer and Dub (Raeann) Brittain both of Sunsites, Ariz. Betty is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husbands, Roy Odell Latimer and W.H. Brittain, and seven brothers and sisters. Graveside Services will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011 at Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens in Miami, Ariz. Services were entrusted to Westlawn Chapel, Mortuary and Crematory of Willcox, Ariz.
